Our international team have some of the most experienced watersports instructors and trainers available. All our watersports instructors are RYA qualified instructors and we teach from beginner to advanced and race to dinghy foiling. As one of Europe’s only Dinghy foiling centres we pride ourselves on getting people of all abilities sailing as much as possible.
We firmly believe that the Mar Menor remains one of sailings best kept secrets. Having arrived at the Mar Menor, we have located our sailing school at what is undoubtedly one of the best locations in Europe.
Our High Performance Centre of Excellence in our opinion un-equalled in all of Europe, particularly when you consider its privileged location, right on the shores of the Mar Menor.
With over 170 square kilometres of lagoon, 350 days of sun and enviable wind statistics, the Mar Menor area is a unique sailing venue.
Wind & Weather
The Mar Menor enjoys more than 2,800 hours of sunshine each year with an average annual temperature of 19.3 degrees Celsius.
Due to the flat plains surrounding the Mar Menor and the distant Mercian Hills, a micro- climate has been created which produces very reliable thermal winds which generally increase throughout the day.
The Sailing Area
Gently shelving sandy beaches or straight from the dock are the launching options and with warm water, a good breeze and an awesome sailing area of 170 square kilometres awaiting, the Mar Menor really is amazing.
We generally restrict our sailing area for safety and to ensure good quality coaching, but the waters are never over-crowded so there is always plenty of scope for learning new skills and ensuring a good run off area for when it does not go quite to plan.
