The ‘Try to Fly’ can be booked as either a group or private lesson, with a maximum of 3 students to 1 instructor ratio. This will ensure that you get enough boat time as well as learning from your colleagues and having a well-deserved rest between take offs.

Coaching is undertaken from a rib from which we can remain in close contact with the sailor through use of a waterproof helmet comms. system.

This 2/4hrs session is an introduction to foiling course. Our aim is to get you flying as quickly as possible. After some basic background theory, our instructor sails the boat out, hands it over to you and gets you flying straight away.

Assumed Pre-Course Ability: Can sail a laser or similar boat confidently.

As we know how reliable the wind is on the Mar Menor. we are the only sailing centre that offers a no wind guarantee. This is where you can come back and repeat your days of no wind free of charge, should our instructors feel there is not enough wind for you to achieve your aims (see terms and conditions).

Provela’s sailing club is located in the village marina of Mar de Cristal on the shores of the Mar Menor a 170 square kilometre lagoon, with great winds which has been affectionately dubbed “one of sailing’s best kept secrets”. With  fine sandy beach and a promenade that links via the beach to Playa Honda in the south, with a selection of bars, cafes and shops, but the stunning views from the sailing club and beach across to the La Manga Strip make a visit here well worth it!
